Big Picture Ministries in South Africa

KwaZulu-Natal MapOur ministry serves in Kwa-Zulu Natal with the South Africa Mission Team of Grace Church—Saint Louis. Our goal is to bring hope to the Zulu people of South Africa affected by the AIDS pandemic. Kwa-Zulu Natal is said to have the highest incidence of HIV/AIDS world-wide. We partner with local community leaders and ministries to educate the Zulu people on HIV/AIDS, share the Good News, teach Bible studies, and distribute Big Picture of the Bible study guides and other materials.

For just $10, you can help us make Big Picture of the Bible available to an AIDS-affected teen, adult, caregiver, or child daycare facility. With each $10 donation, a Bible study will be donated in your name. Just think – for just $10, you can show God’s love to someone in need connecting them with God through Scripture.

Global Outreach Message

The age bracket most likely to contract and spread AIDS is South Africa’s younger adults – which means it is not uncommon for one or more parents of young children to have died from AIDS. The loss of a parent not only affects children emotionally, but leaves behind large numbers of orphans in need of food, care, and love. Many children as young as 10 years old are taking care of their younger siblings—which means children are taking care of children. While in South Africa, we educated people on HIV/AIDS and abstinence, taught Bible studies, prayed with people, handed out food, fed children, read to children, encouraged children, played with children, danced with children, and more!

South Africa Mission

“For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink . . . I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!”

Matthew 25:35, 40 NLT
